Oreo Truffles

I'm not a huge fan of chocolate...I usually go for strawberry if there's a choice...but I've got to share this yummy & super easy recipe a gal at the office made at Christmas. I mean it's super, duper easy!
1 pkg. oreo cookies - crushed in your food processor
1 pkg. room temp cream cheese - add the cookie crumbs & whirl until it all forms together
Roll small teaspoonfuls of dough into balls & freeze
Melt 1 pkg. chocolate morsels & dip balls into chocolate bath to coat
Let them set & then eat 'em up!

Switzerland 21st Bash!

Look what I found while I was cleaning up some files...a snap of some 21st Birthday treats. These made it all the way to Switzerland...in one piece, I might add!

River's 1st Birthday

Here's one of those times where the treats were so cute, but I didn't take a snap...but Mom & Dad did thank goodness!! This was the most adorable birthday party - themed big top banner, food picks, etc - awesome job Mom! When I dropped off the cookies, they were making mini corndogs...mmmm, circus food is the best!

2011 New Year's Resolution #8

#8 - I will take more photos of my orders!! I will post them on my blog, share them on FB & attempt to take them in good light, using a photo cube or at least a nice table cloth for god's sake!

Skye turned 10 & asked for a rock-n-roll party complete with Stratocaster guitar cake. And Kimmy's request was yellow frosting & pink writing..."This is the best cake I've ever had!!"

Leenstra Bridal Shower

B. Leenstra hosted a bridal shower with a few lady friends. Cake & cookies from me...handmade cake topper made by Joyce Hill. It was a lovely day...even if the cake was leaning to the right just a touch. It was a "lean"stra party after all...get it?
