Wayne's Gone Fishin'

Scandi Party 2016

First time making rosettes...jeesh are they are delish! Cooking over a pot of boiling oil seems scary, but not too bad after you get the hang of it. Just like the lefse griddle! Good times with my Norweigen sister shield maiden, Kristen and other work friends!

Boobies!!!!!

'Lil Pumpkin Baby Shower

October shower means all thing pumpkin...pumpkin cookies, orange dipped Oreos, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and yellow cupcakes with cinnamon custard filling and pumpkin spice buttercream. Don't know where the mama's heads went in this picture, but the belly shot is proof that there are babies coming very soon!

Venice Italy...where the meringues are as big as your fist!!

Go Hawks!

Plum Crazy in Love

My friend Sandy enlisted me to help build a dessert table for her step-son's wedding reception...purple was all the bride asked for. Mission accomplished!

My Old Man is 50!

Dave turned 50 in August. No big surprise party...just family, a nice dinner out and a small fire on top of a layered chocolate Kahlua cake. Happy Birthday Sugarlump!

Cactus Love

Bridal shower treats for a cactus/succulent themed day. Love can be prickly sometimes, but oh so sweet!

Red Cross Event

My grandmother June worked for the ARC in Spokane, Miami, Louisville and DC...she did great things coordinating volunteer programs and overseeing blood drives. So of course I said yes to some desserts for an evening education and thank you event in Edmonds. June would've been proud!

Aloha Bridal Shower

Destination wedding in Maui demanded a beach themed shower. The cake was OMG...white with passion fruit curd, which if you've never made is the best stuff on the planet! And of course, passion fruit buttercream too. Lovely watercolor effect in coral and cute cookies too...beach hearts, gown with lei, palms and pineapples.

STRIKE! Bowling For Birthdays

Always a party when there's bowling involved. Been awhile for me, but you can't go wrong when this awesome cake shows up...even if you've tossed gutter balls all night!

Unicorn Magic

I'm amazed that this was my first request for this theme, but then again...most of my kid parties are for boys who love superheroes, Legos and football. You can't see the inside, but it's pink, purple and blue cake!

Emoji Party!

Wondered when I'd get my first request for these cuties...I think they're 👍

Sweet Woodland Animal Baby Shower

The fawn is my favorite! For a baby boy...hence the blue owls.

Deluxe Easter Drip Cake

I helped the Winner of a Cashmere Cookies & Cake gift certificate celebrate Easter dinner in style. Fun adding all the goodies on top of a 4 layer coconut cream cheese cake...it's one of my favorite candy holidays for sure!

Science First!

This was for a first birthday that coincided with Earth Day. Plus mom and dad are science geeks! The mad scientist is the smash cake.

Go M's!

Fun birthday theme for super fans of the Mariners!

Carleton College Care Package

When a mom sends a care package to her kids away at college...she of course includes Cashmere Cookies!!  All things PNW...what Abby misses the most!

Let's Celebrate 47

Long story short...I have some wonderful workmates...the best of the best! In 2016, one got married, one moved away and two turned 47...so of course we went to Vegas!! Yes, there are cookies in all of this...red and black playing cards (hearts, spades, diamonds, clubs)...in the first picture.

St Paul's Academy Dessert Dash

The dessert dash funds always go towards the 8th graders spring break trip...my nephew Bradley is on his way to Washington DC this year!

Pretty Girl Baby Shower

UParty stared out without a theme, but elephants were suggested and I love the pink and grey combo that we settled on.  And you can't go wrong with chevron!
